Biography:

My main field of interest is the investigation of the effects of high energy monoatomic and cluster ions on solids including track formation, electronic mixing and sputtering and previously performed irradiation experiments on various insulators, semiconductors and polymers. My Analytical Thermal Spike model is widely used in the study of these effects. Now I am working on theoretical problems related to the origin of the identical response of some insulators to high energy ion irradiation.
