Biography:

1970 Diploma in Physics, 1980 associate professor, 1989 full professor, 1989-92 Head of the Physics Institute, 1996-98 Head of the Department of Scientidfic Affairs at the Ministry of Public Education, 1998-2003, 2007-2010 Head of the Department of Atomic Physics, 2013 professor emeritus, 2005-2007, 2013-2017: president of Roland Eötvös Physical Society
Research interest: quantum field theory, non-perturbative techniques, cosmplogical phase transitions, stability of the ground state of Standard Model, bound state formation in effective theories of strong interaction
