Topological systems in condensed matter physics

The recent discovery of the quantized spin Hall effect has reinvigorated interest in systems where topological properties guarantee robust measurable physical properties. In our group, we focus on investigating the electronic and magnetic properties of topological insulators, topological superconductors, and topological semimetals. These materials promise revolutionary applications and could one day be an essential building block for future quantum computers.
