Environmental Physics Laboratory Practice 1

Description: This laboratory practice introduces basic physical phenomena like electromagnetic radiations and radioactivity. The students apply these in environmental physics measurements. They for example analyze the elektromagnetic field of mobile phones and low frequency household devices, they measure the radioactivity of air, investigate X-ray fluororescence, gamma spectra and dosimetry methods.

Leading teacher: Máté Csanád.

Recommended for: 3. year Environmental studies majors, 5. semester
