Computer Simulations

Description: The course aims at introducing physical problems, which can be studied by computer simulation. To help students to deepen the knowledge of numerical methods, programming and data visualization skills, and to learn the basics of computer models, to be able to compare the results of simulations and the reality. Also, to practice how to prepare informative reports. During the course six problems are studied. For the problems example program codes are handed out, written is C/C++ language, which are to be compiled and properly parametrized for the given problem. For some questions the example code need to be extended by the students.
