BSc Thesis
Investigation of Standard Model with the CERN LHC CMS detector
(supervisor: G. Pásztor, ELTE)
I worked on the unfolding procedure for the differential Zγ cross-section measurement and search for
anomalous triple gauge couplings ZZγ and Zγγ in proton-proton collisions by analysing the data
collected by CERN LHC CMS experiment at 13 TeV center-of-mass energy in 2015.

MSc Thesis
Challenging the Standard Model and search for New Physics at the LHC CMS experiment
(supervisor: G. Pásztor, ELTE)
I investigated lead ion – lead ion collision data collected by CERN LHC CMS in 2018 at 5.02 TeV per
nucleon-nucleon center of mass energy. I examined the possibility of improving the signal-to-noise
ratio in the axion-like-particles search in ultraperipheral PbPb collisions based on the measurement of
neutron emission by the colliding lead ions by analyzing the energy absorbed in the Zero Degree
Calorimeters.

Conference presentation
Poster with title ’’Observation of light-by-light scattering and search for axion-like particles with the
CMS experiment’’ selected to be presented on behalf of the CMS Collaboration on ICHEP 2020
held in August 2020.
