Biography:
My name is Szabolcs Bernáth and I am a PhD student at the Department of Biological Physics at ELTE. My research focuses on somatic evolution in plants. I investigate and model the dynamics of stem cell divisions in plant meristems and analyze raw genomic data to understand how somatic mutational patterns in different branches are connected to tree topology.
