Biography:

Graduated in 1961 at Eötvös University, I was part of the research staff of the Institute of Technical Physics of HAS until 1982; since that, I have been teaching at Eötvös University; first as associate professor, since 1993 as full professor, until retirement in 2008 (between 2001 and 2003 as head of the Dept. of Physics of Complex Systems). Main research interests: statistical physics, centered on liquid-glass transition and neural networks; since the late 1990's: fundations of quantum physics.
