Biography:

I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher on projects involving big data analysis in the fields of genomics and cancer research. My main interests include the development of variant calling algorithms that analyze next-generation sequencing data, the investigation and decomposition of mutational patterns, various data visualization techniques and the exploration of how clinical parameters can influence molecular quantities and survival in cancer patients. Additionally, I am involved in international collaborations aimed at infectious disease surveillance and analyze genomic data collected worldwide to gain insights into the spread and evolution of viral variants and specific mutations. I also teach both BSc and MSc courses primarily to Physics students with a focus on programming and simulation methods.
