Biography:
My research focuses on the theoretical description of the elementary particles of nature using numerical lattice field theory simulations. I am interested in the physics of compact stars, the evolution of the early universe and heavy-ion collisions. Having received my PhD from the Eotvos University, I was postdoctoral fellow at Regensburg University (2011-2015), Emmy Noether research group head at Goethe University Frankfurt (2016-2020) and professor (W2) at Bielefeld University (2020-2024), before I moved to Eotvos University as full professor in 2024. I was awarded the Kenneth Wilson prize for excellence in lattice field theory (2014) and major research grants by the German Research Foundation (Emmy Noether EN 1064/2-1, collaborative research center CRC/TR211), the European Research Council (Consolidator Grant CoStaMM) and the NKFIH (Research Grant Hungary). I gave eleven BSc- and MSc-level courses in the last ten years in Germany.Links to associated scientific database profiles:
