Az előadás kivonata: One of the recurrent elements of the major evolutionary transitions is the emergence of new inheritance system.  The origin of the genetic code and natural language were the two prime enablers of constucttive biological and culturlal evolution, respectively. Both have contributed to the emergence of higher evolutionary units, and both are likely to have progressed from inconic to symbolic semiosis. I shall discuss the gaps in our advancing understanding of these fascinating evolutionary achievements.
