Biográfia

Zsolt Kovács is associate professor at the Dept. of Materials Physics, ELTE. His main scientific research areas are amorphous alloys, plastic instabilities, depth sensing indentation and severe plastic deformation. Formerly, he was participant in several OTKA/NKFI grants and he was awarded different postdoctoral fellowships (OTKA, Magyary and Bolyai). Presently, he participates in a TéT project on severe plastic deformation and in a NKFI project on bioactive materials. His recent teaching portfolio consists of lectures on optics for physics teachers, materials physics and mechanical behavior of solid materials for M.Sc. students.
